ANN ARBOR – Arjun Prabhakar and Dylan Carvette were key contributors to Ann Arbor Greenhills’ boys tennis team’s state championship and the tandem has been recognized for their play.

Prabhakar and Carvette combined to go 4-0 to claim the No. 3 doubles state title for the Gryphons at the Division 3 state finals.

Their victory helped Greenhills capture its first title since 2019 and because of that performance, they were voted Ann Arbor-area Athletes of the Week.

The duo of Prabhakar and Carvette received more than 37% of the total votes which surpassed 2,400.

They beat out teammates Ismael Metwally and Lucas Nor, Ann Arbor Greenhills, who placed second with 32% of the votes and Ypsilanti soccer player Mustafa Mahmood who took third with 21% of the votes.
