It’s day one of the 2024 WSF World Team Squash Championships at Hong Kong Football Club.
This year’s championships will be a historic edition, with it being the first to feature the men’s and women’s events simultaneously.
A bumper 37 ties are taking place today, including five on the indoor all-glass court, which will be the main glass court until the outdoor glass court on the football pitched is introduced during the quarter-finals stage.

Playing order today is 1-2-3.
Up first on the all-glass court is the women’s Pool F tie between hosts Hong Kong, China and Finland, with the hosts’ men’s team also in glass court action at 19:30, up against Pakistan.
Also in action today are defending champions Egypt as well as debutants Peru and Macau, China. Egypt’s men will play Spain in the last match of the day at 19:30 on court 7, while Peru’s men have a double header against Pakistan at 12:30 and Italy and 19:30. Macau, China’s women will take on Asian champions Malaysia at 15:00.

About the WSF World Squash Team Championships
The WSF World Squash Team Championships are contested annually and pit National Federation squads of four players against each other as they compete for the title of World Champions. The 2024 edition, which is taking place in Hong Kong, China, from 09-15 December 2024 and will be hosted at the Hong Kong Football Club, with the support of the Squash Association of Hong Kong, China.
This year’s championships will be the first to feature concurrent men’s and women’s events, with previous editions alternating between the two annually.
