For 2020 Prince adds another chapter the Phantom Pro 100 (18×20)! This racquet is ideal for the experienced player who craves the undeniable precision of a dense 18×20 string pattern. For this generation Prince thickens the beam a tad to give you a slightly firmer and more powerful response. But make no mistake, this update still captures that buttery flex and arm-friendly comfort of the previous generation.

Like other members of the Phantom series, this stick has Anti-Torsion System, which places Textreme and Twaron at 10 and 2 o’clock in the upper hoop and shaft. The upshot is a more powerful and stable hitting experience. This stick also packs a variable CTS Beam, which deploys a thin 18mm shaft for outstanding ball feedback.

On ground strokes the 100X (18×20) feels comfortable and solid at impact. The thicker beam and more responsive upper hoop provide a little extra pop, which comes in handy when driving the ball through the court. Like the previous generation, the dense string pattern provides the kind of laser-like precision that inspires confidence. At net clean mechanics are rewarded with good depth, and the touch on drop volleys and sharp angles is outstanding. There is also enough precision on serve to target the corners.
